RAM Systems LLC of Jefferson has won an Export Achievement award from the U.S. Department of Commerce.  The company was honored for work in Canada last summer during the wildfire season.

 

RAM uses infrared cameras for wildfire mapping and wildlife and stream surveying.

 

Last summer, British Columbia had some of its most disastrous fires.  RAM Systems' employees and technology aided firefighters in understanding and controlling the blaze for more than two months.
