Polar bears, traditionally an animal very
difficult to survey with a thermal imaging camera are easily spotted with RAM's
radiometric camera. This polar bear survey was done in Norway using RAM Systems' innovative technology.
Ideally all surveys would be
performed in the snow. Since this is not always the case, much like
finding hotspots through tree canopies, the sensitivity of radiometric cameras
allow for observing and recording wildlife in their natural habitats.
Radiometric cameras make these surveys more accurate and in turn more valuable.
