RAM Tracker©

Created to meet the mapping needs of RAM Systems, LLC, RAM Tracker© is now available to the public.  After doing on the job testing and modifications to the software program during the past three years, RAM Systems, LLC  has a product it not only relies on for day to day business but a product that is strong enough to stand on its own. 

RAM Tracker© is a great compliment to any FLIR system.  While RAM Systems, LLC provides an entire camera system, sometimes the investment is not justifiable when an infrared camera is already in use.  RAM Tracker© is the solution to upgrading your system while not having to purchase a new camera.

RAM Tracker© has been created from RAM's experience in the field.  For the camera operator and those viewing video after the flight, the information it provides and its accuracy is indispensable.  This program has a three-up screen with an infrared, day-tv, and moving map view.

Capabilities of RAM Tracker©:

bullet The video/map windows can be re-arranged so that any can be inserted in the large frame.
bulletThe entire program screen can be recorded as a video which can be used to review the flight.
bulletEach frame of the video contains a unique ID as well as the current Lat/Lon coordinates, minimum and maximum temperatures, and switch settings, all of which tie directly to the text file that is being generated at the same time. Once the text file is converted to an ESRI Shape file, you are allowed to create a direct link from your map data to the video.
bullet Loads in background topographic maps when started, but these can be substituted for any thing the client wants.
bullet Operators can choose latitude/longitude coordinates in decimal degree, degree/minutes, or degree/minute/seconds and have the map center on the location.
bulletRAM Tracker© allows the operator to add coordinate points to a custom list insuring that the points  remain on the map with a label.
bulletThe custom list continually updates each location with a distance and bearing from your current location.
bulletContains the GNIS list of geographic names from the USGS topos, so the operator can find a geographic feature such as a stream, peak, airport, etc. and have the map center over it.
bullet RAM Tracker©  provides toggle switches via the switch box to add attribute information to the track, or to nest points along the route.
bulletAdditional map data can be loaded onto the map, if desired.
bullet RAM Tracker©  can be adapted to work with any NMEA compliant GPS unit.
bulletReal-time downlink capable.
